Thank you for sharing your journey so far with our readers. Let’s begin: please introduce yourself and let us know how long ago your journey started? What drew you to art? Any early influences?
Derda
Hi! Im Derda. I work as an art director for my own company, The Block Visual. I first started this field in 2013. The major factor in my coming to digital art was my interest in games. We can also add my interest in architecture.

What training or learning did you do in those beginning stages? Could you see your progression?
Derda
I did not receive any training or support to start this job. I learned some of the methods myself, and some of them via the internet. The methods that I learned by myself, rather than internet videos, were those that improved me the most.

Were you always happy with what you produced, or was there a turning point where you thought; “This is it, I’ve made it! ”?
Derda
Yes, I try to do all of my works carefully. My first turning point is the Project you staff picked in 2018; ''La Casa Delle Rose.'' Apart from 3dtotal, many famous websites have also offered awards.

What are you still working on improving (if anything) - or have you reached a point of high consistency? Do you have any tips for keeping it fresh?
Derda
Today's technology is developing rapidly day by day. Many new programs and software are developing and you have to keep up with this. I usually examine all the newly released programs and improve myself in this way. I think the popularity of the animation culture will increase in the coming years. I am developing myself for animation and character.

What advice would you give to any of our readers who are just beginning their journey now?
Derda
There is a lot of competition in this sector, they should always plan to do the best and I suggest them to be patient. If you are doing something of high quality, one day you will definitely receive applause from your surroundings.

What can we expect to see from you next?
Derda
I will be interested in many areas from now on; environmental modeling, character, and animation FX . (The more variety I have, the more successful I can be.)
