Tell us a little bit about yourself: Who are you, what do you do, and where are you located?

Anuradha

Hi everyone, my name is Anuradha Patel and I love architecture. I am a 3D artist from India. I am available for freelance work. My work allows me to express my emotions, my thoughts, my dreams. I’ll be posting a tutorial shortly, and I am open for feedback and comments.

I chose to do everything manually, which was very time consuming but satisfying.

What was the workflow behind your latest gallery image? Where did the idea come from?

Anuradha

Nothing comes out of the blue. While I was searching for inspiration, I saw a villa surrounded by greenery. The soft touch of nature, the calm feeling... that is when the idea hit me! I imagined a green paradise, a beautiful view, a glass wall, an unrestricted view! The thoughts were racing across my mind; I felt the idea forming as a shape. The feeling was right. Please look at some of the reference images I collected.

This was a challenge. There is a lot of greenery. I didn’t use multiscatter or Forest Pack. I chose to do everything manually, which was very time consuming but satisfying.

What is your preferred software, either for work or personal projects?

Anuradha

I use 3ds Max for the geometry, and Corona is my preferred render engine, with Photoshop for the final touches. Evermotion and 3dsky were useful sources of assets. The floor is created with floor generator. For high res options, I made use of Arroway Textures.

Anuradha

I am a member of various social media groups like VWArtclub, Corona renderer, Facebook, Behance. Often you can see amazing renders from great artists. When seeing their work, their efforts and talents, they inspire me. My most common hashtags to check on other work is #vray#chaosgroup, and #autodesk.

Who are your favorite artists, traditional or digital, and can you explain why?

Anuradha

The Boundary and MIR Studio are – in my eyes – legendary. Their concepts, feeling for lighting, detailed textures, and so on… they inspire me. I feel like I need to work even more and improve much more. Maybe one day I can inspire others too.

What can we expect to see from you next?

Anuradha

Currently I'm working on a few 3D projects; one is an architectural exterior, and another one is a commercial concept. In my ongoing projects, I am mainly focusing on photorealistic quality renders, making much more detailing of realistic materials, and for the commercial views, there is a lot of hard work on detailing to be done. I am trying to make them different from the previous projects.
