3dt: What was the workflow behind your latest gallery image? Where did the idea come from?
AE: In the city of Mashhad is a tomb of the Kings of Iran, and one of the great statues on the tomb building. The concept for my project was that statue, but with investigative work and research on the internet to source information about the clothes at that time, and war instruments. I tried to create a new work.

3dt: What challenges did the image present? What software did you use?
AE: The challenge for me in this project was human anatomy and especially horse anatomy. I was able to study the necessary anatomy by reading books and viewing the right images. I learned the KeyShot software for this project, (and the previous project too, which was a horse).

3dt: How do you keep your portfolio up-to-date? Any tips, or social media groups/hashtags you use?
AE: The motivation for my portfolio is simply to show progression, and in my view this motivation is what makes me do better work. This way, my portfolio is constantly updated. Im a member of CG Society, ArtStation, ZBrushCentral, and 3dtotal, and I upload my works here. Ill look out for other artists and share opinions, perhaps 2 or 3 times a week.

3dt: How important is the recognition of your peers? What are your artistic ambitions?
AE: Recognition is very important for me. Reaching my peers and seeing their work and talking about our work makes me motivated to do more. This is a kind of friendly competition for me. My ambition is simply to progress in my work; this is my wish and I would like to work with filmmakers and animation companies.

3dt: Who are your favorite artists, traditional or digital, and can you explain why?
AE: My favorite 3D artist is Majid Smiley and I follow his artwork; he is a character artist and he has a good understanding of anatomy. In my view, his work is excellent. My beloved digital painters are Tianhua Xu, Bayard Wu, Wei Wang, and Fenghua Zhong, and I follow their works.

Glorious King
3dt: What can we expect to see from you next?
AE: My Next personal project is a Wonder Woman character, and one character from a Tianhau Xu concept. In the end, thank you so much for interviewing with me!
