SIGGRAPH returns to the capital of entertainment this summer. The annual showcase is the most comprehensive computer graphics event in the world and attracts thousands of people each year. During the course of 5 days, attendees will get to experience first-hand an interdisciplinary collaboration of industry professionals, researchers, artists, developers, and enthusiasts, coming together to learn the latest in graphics, interactive techniques, and ground-breaking technologies dominating the computer graphics world of today.

The annual SIGGRAPH conference draws a diverse audience year after year reflected in a shift in demographics and worldwide appeal. Regardless of shifts, there is always a great mix of industries and interests - from television/film, research, product development, and art to the gaming world.

Xroads of Discovery is the overarching theme of the 2015 conference because it best symbolizes the gathering and collaboration of a variety of individuals, interests, identities, disciplines, and perspectives in arts, graphics, and emerging technologies. No other event of its kind exists where there is an interdisciplinary exchange of this magnitude. The show provides an immersive environment for individuals and groups who are looking to learn or just be entertained.

In addition to SIGGRAPH's leading-edge technical program, the conference's installations will host a close-up exploration of the latest in digital art, emerging technologies, and various opportunities for creative collaboration.

SIGGRAPH 2015 is packed with exciting programs, events, and informative sessions. These range from Emerging Technologies, a presentation of demonstrations of research from various fields including displays, input devices, collaborative environments, and robotics; Studio, a presentation of projects from alternative fields that utilize and build new foundations in computer graphics including themed entertainment, location-based installations, projection mapping, and advancements in augmented and virtual reality; Art Gallery, a showcase of craft techniques and values in contemporary digital design; Making, a vehicle for innovation where students and educators can showcase their projects and share what they have learned and how they use their creativity, ingenuity, and critical thinking to inspire others; and a Computer Animation Festival (CAF) the leading annual festival for the world's most innovative, accomplished, and amazing digital film and video creators.

This year's Keynote Speaker will be Joi Ito , director of MIT Media Lab. Mr. Ito is an activist, entrepreneur, venture capitalist, and advocate of emergent democracy, privacy, and internet freedom, as well as a recipient of numerous awards and recognitions.

The last 3 days of the conference, August 11 - 13, will host a commercial exhibition where companies present and exhibit their products, services and newest developments; as well as a job fair, where job seekers and potential employers will be able to meet and connect.
