With the VFX Festival fast approaching, based in London, England, the AMD FirePro team is delighted to announce that they have 10 free tickets to attend the VFX festival screening days, as well as entrance to the closing party in final week of the VFX festival (11-13 November 2013).

But what is the VFX Festival? From 413 November, the VFX Festival 2013 returns to London for a second year to bring together the next generation of VFX talent with the biggest names in the industry, celebrating the people, tools and ideas that are shaping visual effects.

Week 1: Taking place in the first week of the festival (4- 7 November) there will be VFX workshops at Escape Studios for artists at all levels; from introduction to master classes in MARI, Houdini, Maya, Python, NUKE and more.

Week 2: The second week (11-13 November) will allow attendees to experience a selection of VFX presentations run by Oscar-winning artists as they discuss the development of latest Hollywood blockbusters and video games, including Gravity, World War Z, and Assassin's Creed. Cool, right?
