Vertically mounted blast drill, using a pressurized stream of an extremely heated oxygen-nitrogen mix in order to melt and evaporate ice, creating a perfectly circular bore in order to extract core samples from. Modeled in Maya, rendered in VRay, texturing and comp work done in Photoshop.
