The Dying Gladiator is a neoclassical sculpture, currently located in the Louvre Museum of Paris. This work wasn't meant to be a copy of the original, but a personal interpretation. The body sculpt was realized in Zbrush with an accurate anatomy study, the base for the drapery was made with Marvelous Designer and refined with Zbrush, the rocky base was also sculpted with Zbrush, while the shield and the sword were modeled with Blender. All the items were retopologyzed manually with the 3D Coat's retopo tools, UV layouts were made with Blender and displacement map generated with Zbrush. In the end, Blender was used for creating the final renderings and Photoshop for the multipass compositing.
