Bile Demon from Dungeon Keeper based on the concept of the talented Viktor Titov. I thought that would be cool to translate him in 3D because we don’t often see that kind of shapes on demons who are usually more muscular or thin, with a vicious or aggressive look. I did this project just for fun and simply because I really liked the original concept. I’ve never played Dungeon Keeper, but I think Viktor Titov’s artwork respects the game while adding something new.
(I used ZBrush for modeling, Substance Painter for texturing, rendering was done in Maya with Arnold, hair with xgen. The skin details are a mix of XYZ alpha and brushes from zbrushguides.com / HDRIs used are from hdrihaven.com)
