”Adam Driver”. This was a very challenging project for me. First time sculpting the model myself. Last time I attempted a likeness sculpt was back in 2009. The model took many iterations, as I was trying to learn how to use the references properly. Sculpted with the free scan mesh from 3DScanstore as base.
Camera, light and grade is inspired by photographer Mark Mann. Camera settings are 30x45 mm filmback, 120 mm lens with 5.6 F-stop. I used some tiltshift to tilt the focal plane.
For the lighting I experimented with adding a person behind the camera in the hopes that he would be visible in the eye reflections. He was not, but I still kept him there.
Sculpted in Mudbox, rendered with V-ray, hair with Yeti and composite in Nuke.
