This still was created in 3ds max 2.5.
The textures where done by hand and in PhotoShop and Painter.
The character is a simple single mesh object - I was testing using an in game style single 'skin' texture, its also handy for cutting down on polys on distant shots in animations.
The muzzle flash and smoke where made using the excellent (charityware) DustDevil 2 plug-in.
In all modelling, textures and scene took 5 days.
