This is a personal side project of mine with a primary focus on texturing, look development and groom.
I was aiming to create a look similar to character models in cinematic game trailers, a mixture of realism with fantasy.
The base model was purchased online with the only exception being the battle axe which I created myself. I had to adjust the model, fixing duplicate polygons, holes, adjusting the eyes and re-uv prior to texturing.
Software: Maya (Arnold + Xgen), Mari, Substance Painter, Nuke and Photoshop
