Meet Shrimphead! He's 5 and has come from the future. The past is full of weird creatures that are new to Shrimphead and not from the world he grew up in...
Shrimphead is a concept that I had recently developed. In this image I did begin to paint hundreds of butterflies swarming around him, but then thought it seemed a little overkill and the single bug seemed so much stronger as an image.
Painter & Photoshop were used to achieve the 3D look.
