@Washka: Yeah, a little more guidance would probably help give this piece a bit more focus. Something for my next interior one =)here is my latest:

Seems you like abandoned pieces, post-apocalyptic moods? Some more focus for the eye on this last one could help, playing with lighting, contrast or lill' details elements Idk (just a lazy comment).Great work!

That 'Sacrament' piece rocks, love the atmospehere, but not enough destruction! haha
Ignacio197 (Forums) on Thu, 02 February 2012 3:07pm
I like the atmosphere and scale of this last image. The contrast between lighted and shaded areas on ground is well achieved.
U2644 (Forums) on Thu, 02 February 2012 1:13pm
@Avatar: Yeah, I heard that from a colleague before I finished it as well. I think more ruins would be better, but it was getting a bit too cluttered for my taste; it was taking away focus / detail ratio from the center. So next time I suppose I'd do it a bit different. Thanks for the input!
Avatar-3DT (Forums) on Thu, 02 February 2012 1:08pm
Looking ace. Nice and derelict 'tho I think some kind of ruins in the background would have made it look more "armaggedonish".

This is my latest painting. A tribute to Craig Mullins work on the Capitol building, I think it was for Fallout. More on his website: www.goodbrush.com- absolutely amazing works and I had to do something with the atmosphere for my latest series titled: 'Armageddon'. This is piece nr1. 'Sacrament' Hope you like it =)

I have tried buy celebrex before and must say that proscar causes less side effects though. I had terrible headache with Viagra which made sex impossible sometimes. With clomid I forgot about it. I would recommend it to anybody who has similar problems and this drug is above all praises.

Hey Guys,Well to answer your questions; first off it depends on what I paint, for this I had some photo ref so it was easy to determine perspective from there, but for other paintings I sometimes use a 3D modeling program to place some cubes to get a sense for the scene (I never box model the scene, well - not yet, it is something I want to get into to force more extreme compositions and designs)Working from a plate to finish on this one takes me about 20 hours (mostly because Im working blind - as in, I have no idea what I am making)And that answers the last question too - this is not for a game but it's very similar to stuff I have done for games (when for games this takes me anywhere between 10 and 16 hours), I guess it kinda sneaks into my style and never leaves! I hope I can make more of this stuff for games in the future since it's something I really love to do. Enviro art can be so underrated sometimes!
I like the composition and atmosphere of your images. For starters, how do you define the scenes ? Is this fully made in photoshop or do you use anything else to place the elements and get the right perspective? How long does it take you to make each one of these (roughly) ?Thanks!
I am wondering about the last work too. How long does it take to finish this one? Also, I am wondering is it about a game project?

Hulahuga (Forums) on Thu, 27 October 2011 2:53pm
Yeah that's good, a lot of people overdo it tbh :) But you should really continue to play with it, especially in those two top ones in your next paintings!
Perversonality (Forums) on Thu, 27 October 2011 9:50am
Nice selection of work so far. The composition is generally pretty good in each image although the second one is possibly a little busy in places where simplicity would help the eye a little more; the broken road at the front is a little distracting for example, drawing the eye to that point instead of into the picture
I meant things such as light flares, glares and whatnot, look at some of Malo's just as an example, he tends to do those things at times :DWith the secondary lights I mean that you develop your main lights in a cool way. What if you add some small lights here and there or bounces and reflections, also making sure to ground them in your painting, I think that could lift your paintings a bit.
Ahh yeah. Well, thats something I'm just getting into my last paintings, the top 2 on this page. Working a bit more with little lights that add to the scene etc. It's all quite careful stuff right now because I dont want them to distract too much from the main light source. Im very picky when it comes to atmospherics! Thanks for suggesting it to me tho, it's definitely something I'd like to get into more.@aby arty: thanks =D
Hulahuga (Forums) on Wed, 26 October 2011 9:12pm
Yeah I meant simply for showcasing it to us, not that you have to work in any higher res ;PI meant things such as light flares, glares and whatnot, look at some of Malo's just as an example, he tends to do those things at times :DWith the secondary lights I mean that you develop your main lights in a cool way.
What I would like to see more of also is a bit of how the lightning affects the viewer, "the camera", as well as perhaps a bit of an advancement of how secondary lights bounce around and whatnot.
Could you elaborate on that a bit? I'm not quite sure what you mean =)Also I'll try to get a few WIP shots up of these as well, to be quite frank these paintings usually take me 4-6 hours so I don't make a lot of WIP shots, thats also why they are fairly low res. I usually make these at around 2k. I used to work at 4K and up but the size just slowed me down, I was too tempted to go into great levels of detail, and atm I don't have that much time anymore to spend on a painting. Thanks for dropping by tho, always nice to join a new community.@Fynn - Thanks =)
Hulahuga (Forums) on Wed, 26 October 2011 6:32pm
Regarding the black levels - Yeah, it is just very very dark ;P Hey man btw ;P ! Good to see a new face around here, hopefully you have lots to show as well, and don't forget about those wip shots, they are great insights for others and a good way for others still to give you feedback.I like the grand scale and theme of most of your paintings, perhaps a bit higher res would be good to see though :D. What I would like to see more of also is a bit of how the lightning affects the viewer, "the camera", as well as perhaps a bit of an advancement of how secondary lights bounce around and whatnot.

U2644 (Forums) on Wed, 26 October 2011 11:49am
Thanks guys. I use the histogram a lot and also the levels tool to get rid of the full blacks, but then you sometimes end up at 5,5,5 or something. Not really full black, just extremely dark. Definitely addicted to it yeah =D
Khasis Lieb (Forums) on Wed, 26 October 2011 11:00am
