
Autodesk Japan has made available the models of the film "Max Man & Maya Man" created by WOW inc. I decided to make my own version. For this project I wanted to focus mainly on the shading part and make everything without the use of texturing plugins. The shader of the robot is made of nine different layers (paint, rust, scratches, etc.) mixed together with an extensive use of VRayTriplanar, Dirt map and texture masks.
