software used: Rhino3d, Photoshop, 3ds Max.
This self promotional piece demonstrates how the use of detailed texturing can be used to bring realism to a simple model.
The face was modeled in Rhino3d which is a farily simple nurbs model.
It was then brought into Max for setup, texturing and rendering where I added the lashes and hair using lofted splines. Texturing was done in Photoshop and was the most time consuming part of the final piece.
