I've been working on increasing my personal library of assets to create better compositions. These mushrooms came from Megascans, and I brought them into Blender and did some materials and displacement voodoo to them. Since it was going into a foggy/misty scene, I tossed in a few water-droplets for grins and giggles. This asset gave me a chance to experiment with Blender's new Principled BSDF shader, as well as combining GPU and CPU in the render. Normally I wouldn't post a simple asset render, but I like this particular composition. These turned out so well I may explore setting up my own little photogrammetry studio.
