This is a project I did to study how to create Xgen hair and apply it to Unreal engine. The process is pretty straightforward, but it took me a while to understand all the details. It is certainly easier than creating hair cards, and being a non-destructive workflow, it allows for better iterations. The sculpture was made in Zbrush, the modeling in Blender, UVs and hair in Maya, clothing in Marvelous Designer, textures in Substance Painter, and Unreal Engine 4 for rendering. I really enjoyed it!
