Staff picks contest May 2021
Impressive detailing was the order of the day for Nikolay Kvartnikov's "Smoking Pirate," with a great explanation and breakdown given on the image's gallery page. A great use of Marvelous Designer for the cloth material - excellent final image! Created to celebrate the anniversary for quitting smoking, the office were unified in their admiration.

Thank you 3dtotal team for choosing “Smoking Pirate” as the Staff Picks winner! It is very valuable to me. For the two-year anniversary of how I quit smoking, I did this personal project for the portfolio of our studio Fiero Animals. It was a great journey into the atmosphere of pirates, various gorgeous references, new experiences, and a lot of interesting work. Don't smoke!
