Meet the teamThe competition
Following on from our successful Joan of Arc contest, we take to the skies (or perhaps not, who knows what evolutionary ideas might form in your minds...?) You can draw, paint, sculpt, or illustrate, in 2D, 3D, or traditionally, to answer the question, What if birds were the dominant species?
Just like the last contest, you have 3 months to come up with something spectacular, which must be posted in the 3dtotal gallery. You will be prompted when uploading to include the tag "dominantbirds," and it will join the latest entries page on the contest page, and under the galleries tab at the top. Don't forget the tag.
XP-Pen have very generously sponsored this contest, with the first prize being their Artist22R Pro, a 21.5 inch graphics tablet worth $700. Second is an Artist15.6 Pro graphics tablet worth $400, and third is their Deco Pro S drawing tablet worth $100.
Rules
Ask yourself the question, What if birds were the dominant species? and create a piece of artwork - this could be a scene, a character, a family, an environment - anything! The team at 3dtotal will be the judges, and we all have various tastes and preferences, so let your imagination run free!
Entry will close on Midnight 17 May 2020, to give you all enough time to come up with something amazing, including those using 3D. There will be no bias in judging between 2D and 3D entries, as we will look at each entry on its own merits. There is also no limit on the number of entries that you can make.
So, to summarize:
- Register through our sign-up page (if not already a member)
- Upload your Dominant Birds creation before Midnight 17 May 2020 to qualify
- Tag "dominant birds" or "dominantbirds"
- 2D or 3D entries are eligible
- Digital or traditional entries are eligible
- Unlimited entry
Judges decision is final! Winners will be contacted by 1 June. Good luck!
